1. What was it like when you turned on the news and saw 1,000 more soldiers dead in battle?
We needed to win, or get the hell out!
2. Did any of your buddies get drafted into the war? If so, how many Do of them came back?
Talked to some veterans of the war, but none of his close friends went there.
3. What did your kids think about the war? the kids of the neighborhood? the kids at the schools?
Never heard anything about it.
4. Why do you think the US went into Vietnam?
At first, a just war. Later on, an unjust war. Too many lives lost.
5. How do you think the people of our nation in this day would respond if another "Vietnam" were to happen?
It depends on the political party, and the War in Iraq is another Vietnam.
