Star Wars: A Classic Imperialism Movie

When you think of Imperialism, what classic movie series doesn't pop into your head other than STAR WARS? The origins of the movie series (Episodes 1, 2, and 3) show how the Old Galactic Republic is on the verge of collapse, and is in dire need of a change. A war is upon the Republic, but the High Chancellor, who has the power to do what he wants at the time, destroys the Republic, and replaces it with  the Galactic Empire, which crushes the worlds under its authority, and tricks the opposing side's leaders to come out of hiding, where an assassin (Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader) was waiting to kill them all. The days of the Rebellion (Episodes 4, 5, and 6) show what happens to those that try to appose the Might of a Powerhouse like the Empire. The Empire will destroy cities to keep order in a world. When the Empire made an example for the other worlds it controlled to see, they made the example hit hard, and it always it home. When working with Imperialism, you need to keep your nation under a tight leash, in almost any way possible. A little sabotage and leader replacement doesn't hurt, either.
