From what we read in the "no violence in games," they all the same thing: Games should not portray wars in the past, present, future, and fictional. They say it is "Inhumane," but they forget one thing that the FPS (First Person Shooter) games that are based on historical wars of the past do: teach history to those that don't pay attention to history class in school. As the past 100 years have shown us, humanity has a instinct to hurt others, with either a territory that a nation wants, or with a war that requires all members of the world community to participate in it, humanity can cause death and destruction where ever we put our feet in. So, why deny people with a chance to learn history in their own way? It is scientifically proven that every person is different, and every person learns in their own way. Even if a person playing a game like Call of Duty: World at War, that person is still learning about the World War 2, just not in a way that teachers would like. In seeing the violence in the game, people playing the game may see how bad war is, and help secure peace and freedom in many government branches, or serve in the military. "Violent Games" that depict wars can actually be a good thing.
